Finally, we would have to wait for some days to find out whether Apple uncovers this brand new magnetic MacBook Pro in its upcoming launch event or not. A new Macotakara report indicates Apple will launch an updated MacBook Pro in late October with 13- and 15-inch options.
Apple's new MacBook Pros, which could arrive as soon as 27 October, are tipped to be the first with a Touch ID power button and Apple's macOS 10.12.1. The overhauled laptop PCs will reportedly be much thinner - similar to the new MacBook's design - and replace the venerable function keys with a wide, short touchscreen that will change depending on what app you're now using. Moreover, the new MacBook Pros will have a smaller footprint than existing models with shallower curves casing around the edges.
We just learned that the 2016 MacBook Pro may no longer offer a magnetic charging cable that disconnects if you trip over it, might no longer have regular USB ports or Thunderbolt ports.
"On the MacBook Air side, Macotakara reports that Apple will kill off the 11-inch version of its popular laptop in favor of the 13-inch model".
Basically, the next MacBook Pro will likely be a thinner, lighter laptop. It is rumored that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is looking to refresh its current line of Surface devices, so it is highly unlikely Apple would back off from a good challenge.
Facebook Messenger Data Saver Mode Being Tested
This means that all images and videos received by the user will only be downloaded and viewable when the user taps on them. The data saver option will help users use their cellular data more effectively and will likely prove to be cost-efficient.
Still, the svelte, gold-colored MacBook is a niche product compared to the more workaday MacBook Pro, which is favored by mobile videographers and photographers who often tote many external drives. Rumor has it that Apple may get rid of the USB 3.0 port and the Magsafe port (where the charger plugs in) on the next generation of MacBooks.
Apple has an event coming up this month and, by then; consumers will know what gadgets they are dreaming for their fans.
The iPhone 4 has a 3.5-inch display and while that is not very common in most of the smartphones today, the phone brought many new features.
A migration to Intel's Kaby Lake is likely, particularly given that 2015's MacBook Pro refresh was based on the now ancient Haswell class of processors. And with that, the rumors claim, the MacBook Air might actually not see any further releases. This legacy of launch events would be evident in case of MacBook Pro 2016's upcoming debut as well. The touchscreen will let users run apps and perform tasks directly without having to touch the keyboard.
