The truce " humanitarian " decreed by Moscow in the Syrian city of Aleppo took effect Thursday, but nearly no inhabitant of rebel neighborhoods had borrowed the corridors established to evacuate civilians and rebels.
The UN said Friday that security concerns had forced it to delay planned evacuations from Syria's Aleppo, despite a truce that was largely holding for a second day in the ravaged city.
Russian Federation says it has extended a "humanitarian pause" in its attacks on rebel-held Aleppo until Saturday.
Around 500 people have been killed and 2,000 injured since Syrian government forces, backed by Russian air strikes, launched an assault on the east a month ago.
It said at least three people were wounded in artillery fire on the east of the city, while rebels fired a barrage of rockets and mortar shells on the government-held neighbourhood of Hamdaniyeh.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said fighting and air strikes took place on Saturday night.
So far the United Nations has said it has not been able to go into east Aleppo with supplies due to the lack of security assurances.
The confrontation between Turkey-backed Syrian rebels and Kurdish fighters allied to a USA -backed militia fighting Islamic State is escalating as both sides race to be the first to expel Islamic State from the northern Syrian city of al-Bab.
"These shocking acts in Aleppo beg for an appropriate investigation and those who commit them must be held accountable", he said.

Syrian and Russian forces say they are targeting fighters linked to Al-Qaeda from Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham, formerly known as the Al-Nusra Front, in eastern Aleppo.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview aired on Saturday that the intervention was meant to "liberate" Syria and keep Assad in power.
Asked if further extensions of the Aleppo pause were under discussion, Russian deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted by RIA news agency earlier on Saturday as saying it depends on the actions of other parties. It added that Erdogan's government has been playing a "dirty role in harboring, training, arming and funding terrorist groups and opening its borders to facilitate the crossing of thousands of terrorists and mercenaries into Syria's territories".
