Shortly after the incident, Trump told OH rally-goers that Pence had been in in "grave, grave danger".
There were no injuries. The chartered 737 he had been using-with its notoriously hard landings-had just slid off the runway after landing at LaGuardia. He said he will be back on the trail Friday. "The plane fishtailed a little bit", said Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence.
Trump and Pence have slipped in the polls in recent weeks, in part due to negative public reaction to the release of a decade-old video in which Trump made lewd comments about women and said he could grab them by their genitals because he was a celebrity. The passenger list included Indiana First Lady Karen Pence and the couple's daughter, Secret Service and reporters traveling with the governor. His plane was kept in a ground hold at the airport in Fort Dodge, Iowa, earlier in the day.
"We are great, thank God", the IN governor told the "CBS This Morning" program, describing the incident as "10 seconds of uncertainty as we landed". Takeoff was delayed about two hours due to the bad weather in NY. Pence canceled a planned fundraiser appearance at Trump Tower following the incident.

"When there's a layer of water on it, it is very much like hydroplaning in your vehicle", she said, adding, "LaGuardia has had this very thing happen before".
It came to a stop at the perimeter fence around 7:40 p.m.at runway 22L.
Pence said first responders were "on the scene at LaGuardia before the aircraft even came to a halt".

During the investigation they will focus on the crew on board, potential mechanical problems and the weather during the incident.
