A new global trailer for Star Wars: Rogue One is out and it contains some never before seen footage.
The stand-out moment in the trailer is a handsome new shot of Darth Vader, with his arm outstretched and nothing but the sound of his heavy breathing. It features main, never before seen characters who interact with some of our favorites from the past like Mon Mothma and Darth Vader.
Either way, we now have a new trailer to add to our Rogue One trailers one-stop destination list. But so was the trailer for The Force Awakens (and Episode 1 for that matter). Each shot just feels less artificial and has a certain authentic quality to it, much like the original Star Wars.
GOP wins 2 more years of House control, Dem gains minimal
In tiny New Hampshire, where there are just 919,000 registered voters, super-PACs spent $90.6 million on the Senate race. Johnson's victory came in a rematch of the 2010 race in which Johnson ended Feingold's 18-year run in the Senate.
The importance of Rogue One, however, goes far beyond entertainment value and even profit margins, as the ultimate success or failure of this movie could have a major impact on the future of the Star Wars franchise and, more specifically, the potential for a Marvel-esque Star Wars Cinematic Universe. The droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Saw Gerrera (Forrest Whitaker), Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen), Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen), and Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed) round out the Rebel Alliance crew, with the villain Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) right alongside them. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Rogue One opens in theaters December 16 in the United States.
