He said CPEC would only be beneficial for Pakistan if the country's exports were boosted through this mega trade route.
The report further adds that the second trade convoy was scheduled to reach today. The shipment of first trade cargo from Gwadar to the global market heralds a changed Pakistan.
To commemorate the occasion, a ceremony is to be held at Gwadar Port on November 13.
The 3,000km trade route, called the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), links China's Xinjiang province with Gwadar in Pakistan's Balochistan province.

The rally culminated at Gwadar Press Club where the speakers said that the CPEC project would prove a game changer for Balochistan and especially bring development and prosperity for the people of Makran. The corridor passes through the occupied territory of Balochistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
India has formally opposed the CPEC because it runs through disputed PoK.
