Citing a source familiar with the decision, CNN reported that President-elect Trump has picked South Carolina's Governor Haley to be the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. "She is also a proven deal maker, and we look to be making plenty of deals".
If Haley is confirmed by the Senate, she will be the first female and first non-white appointed to a cabinet-level position in the Trump administration.
