Democrats in Congress called on USA intelligence agencies to provide all information about Russian hacking and disinformation in the election. In the meantime, they've been throwing shade at the US intelligence community and blaming everyone but the Russian government, Russian hackers, and President Trump's natural ally Vladimir Putin. "I don't believe it", Trump said in an interview with Fox News on December 11, 2016.
Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said Trump would not interfere with any congressional inquiry, but also said the president-elect regarded the spate of hacking reports as part of an effort to relitigate the election.
He said there was "great confusion" within the intelligence agencies, whom he portrayed as fighting among themselves.
The volume of the debate around alleged Russian efforts to hack the U.S. presidential election may've just gotten turned up to 11.
The growing tensions set up a potential showdown between Trump and the nation's top intelligence officials during what some of those officials describe as the most complex threat environment in decades. Speaking with Radio Sputnik, former United Kingdom ambassador to Uzbekistan Craig Murray said the Central Intelligence Agency investigation is clearly meant to undermine the new administration and promote Russophobia, and that is driven by sour grapes rather than an actual violation.
Perhaps the latest intelligence from the CIA-that Russian Federation was trying to help Trump win-wouldn't have changed the outcome of the vote.
"Given his proclivity for revenge combined with his notorious thin skin, this threatens to result in a lasting relationship of distrust and ill-will between the president and the intelligence community", said Paul Pillar, former deputy director of the CIA's Counterterrorism Centre. Though Obama stumped for Clinton around the country, the administration didn't want to open him up to attacks that he unfairly used intelligence to undermine Trump's campaign, the Post reported.
"When I ran everybody knew that I was a very big owner of real estate all over the world", Trump said. adding he would not be involved in the day-to-day management of his company as president.

In Eureka, which is less than 20 miles (32 km) north of Ferndale, Twitter user Wanda Cloud reported that she felt a "jolt". The quake occurred in the Pacific Ocean, 165 kilometers west from Ferndale, California, the United States.
"These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction", Trump's transition team said, launching a broadside against the spy agency.
"That was a major clue to their intent", the official said.
The Republican real estate magnate was expected to appoint as secretary of state Exxon Mobile Corp (XOM.N) Chief Executive Rex Tillerson, who has close ties with Moscow and has spoken out against US sanctions on Russian Federation.
On Fox News Sunday, Trump further indicated how business will not be conducted as usual once he's leader of the free world.
If that's true, why didn't the Obama administration push to release it earlier?
Intelligence agencies are tracking Russia's military interventions in Syria and Ukraine, Iran's compliance with the nuclear deal, North Korea's nuclear weapons testing and China's maritime challenges in Asia and theft of trade secrets. A report that claims Russia did use cyberattacks to influence the election could pit the intelligence community against the incoming president, who has repeated that there has as yet been no evidence presented of Russian wrongdoing.
Trump also denied the importance of receiving the daily intelligence briefing that is traditional for presidents and presidents-elect. "It's now time to move on..." Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham vowed to pursue the matter, but Senator John Cornyn said Russian Federation has been involved in cyberattacks for years and said the new allegations were "serious, but hardly news". "That any country could be meddling in our elections should shake both political parties to their core", he said. I don't know why....
