George passed away on Christmas Day at the age of just 53, with his former manager saying that he had suffered heart failure.
Elton John broke down in tears as he played an emotional tribute to late pal George Michael during his Las Vegas concert on Wednesday, and it's clear the music legend is still struggling to come to terms with the British pop star's untimely death. John and Micheal are long time friends who performed the track during a Live Aid concert in 1985 and later at Michael's own Wembley Arena concert in 1991. The two superstars memorably sang the song together in a live cover version in 1990, which reached number one in both the United Kingdom and the U.S.
One fan in attendance told the paper that Elton, seemingly in tears, told the audience, "I only wish George was here to sing it with me".

New LiDAR sensors also have a more integrated design and no longer look like huge antennas on the car's roof. The car's updates are focused on its virtual driver system, with the vehicle's brain located in the trunk.
The concertgoer told the Mail that John was consoled by a band member after the crowd gave him a standing ovation.
Subsequent reports have suggested that Elton is to perform at George's wedding like he did Princess Diana's in 1997. It is also believed that Michael will be buried next to his mother, Lesley, in Highgate Cemetery in North London.
"'I am in deep shock", he captioned the photo. I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist, ' wrote Elton on Instagram following the news of George's death. My heart goes out to his family and all of his fans.
