Kim Kardashian's stolen jewelry from her Paris robbery was melted down and sold for cash, TMZ reports.
In a leaked transcript, Aomar Ait Khedache told police his associates had melted down and sold almost all of the jewellery taken from Kardashian-West's hotel room on October 3, Le Monde reports.
Meanwhile, Khedache allegedly admitted to planning on robbing Kardashian at an earlier date because he has her complete schedule while she was in Paris for the Paris Fashion Week, according to Entertainment Tonight. "The jewels were shown on the internet, and [she said] that she didn't wear fakes. the time she would arrive in France, you just had to look at the internet and you knew everything, absolutely everything".
They didn't sell it, Aomar reportedly told police, because "Everyone was afraid...because it's a stone that's very easy to identify".
However, he did add that "very precise information" from "someone who was very close to her" bolstered their social media perusal.

Khedache, who is known to his fellow criminals and to police as "Old Omar", is now being held without bail. That would be impressive, had the robbers not made off with $10 million in Kim's bling! Parisian police are still searching for that ring! The robbers, who held the star at gunpoint, stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery, and now Le Monde newspaper reports that it's likely she'll never see the collection again.
According to Page Six police obtained one such DNA sample from a piece of tape which was used to gag the Keeping up with the Kardashians star.
