Four militants, two soldiers and a civilian were killed in the encounter while another civilian was killed and 20 others injured in security forces firing on protestors during clashes near the encounter site. The army in a statement said that the four terrorists killed in the encounter belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen.
"There is no restriction on the movement of people anywhere else in the Valley but security forces have been deployed in sensitive areas to keep a tight vigil on anti-social elements", he said.
