"We are trying very hard to get the next of kin to come and assist us in the investigation", Mr Noor Rashid said, but added no such family member had yet come forward.
North Korea's ambassador to Malaysia, Kang Chol, in a statement to reporters outside the hospital morgue Friday, said his country would "categorically reject" results of the autopsy.
