Like a man. He did not want to be just the tough Wolverine, but the hard Logan. Yes, in an interview with film critic Rajeev Masand said, "maybe Shah Rukh Khan could play it". Even now, as he's assuring anyone who'll listen that he's hanging up the claws, he's said he'd be willing to play Wolverine again if the character could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's all so starkly and intensely photographed that it's unbelievable to even consider that it exists in the same cinematic universe as its family-friendly predecessors, but this is a darker story that necessitates the heavier visuals and themes, so I must applaud Fox for taking a chance on this bloody spectacle. But I hope it's not a harbinger of the route every superhero movie takes in the future.

As the journey of Hugh Jackman comes to an end as Wolverine, the 48-year-old is leaving no stones unturned in making sure the last instalment featuring him is the most successful one of the hit franchise. "Logan" will officially open in cinemas on Friday with a projected word box office receipts of $170 Million as fans say goodbye to the last foray of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

"When you play a character for 17 years - and I knew in my heart this was the right time - then instantly, I was very excited about what we could do, but also very protective".
It's up to Logan and Professor Xavier (Sir Patrick Stewart) to deliver Laura to safety as the fate of mutants rest on his adamantium shoulders once more. We see the damage Logan's claws cause, the nearly unimaginable carnage.
"Logan" is set in the year 2029, and shows Hugh Jackman's character old and exhausted of the pains of the world.
The story is very loosely based on Mark Millar's "Old Man Logan" comic series, which had a slew of characters that don't belong to Twentieth Century Fox, so they just made do with what they had.
