The design of the Samsung Galaxy S8 may not be enormously different from the Galaxy S7, where it's likely to have a metal frame and glass back for a start. "Samsung and other IT companies such as Apple should manufacture phones that are easy to fix, refurbish, and upgrade".
The Samsung Galaxy S8 hasn't been announced yet, but that doesn't mean we don't know an very bad lot about it.

Samsung cancelled the Note 7 and had consumers return their phones just two months after it was originally released. We don't yet know what the Samsung Galaxy S8 will cost, but rumors put it slightly higher than the Samsung Galaxy S7.
The fingerprint sensor has been relocated to the rear (alongside the rear camera) and will support gesture recognition including programmable gestures for opening applications. The specs and the functionality make the device one of the best that the company has been able to churn out in recent years.
