Google is rehashing an old idea for April Fool's Day this year.
Say goodbye to your productivity today: Google added "Ms. Pac-Man" to Google Maps in honor of April Fools' Day.
Of course, in this version of the game, it's impossible to sort easily preict and memorize where to go and when ― because there's a virtually endless number of different maps to play on.
South Korean Court Approves Arrest Warrant For Ousted Leader Park Geun-hye
Scores of supporters, mostly elderly voters, waved national flags outside Park's home, chanting their opposition to her arrest. After the hearing ended, Ms Park proceeded to the prosecutor's office nearby to wait for the court's decision.
There is a banner in the lower-third of the screen advertising the game, which you can drag up and tap to play Ms Pac-Man.
Some users have reported that clicking the icon takes you to a random location to play the game. Cities are generally a better bet.
More famously, Google put a playable Doodle celebrating Pac-Man's 30th anniversary back in 2010. It's no stranger to embedding games as part of its Doodle program and elsewhere, from other versions of Pac-Man to a Halloween game, Starcraft and more. They designed a modification board that fit on top of the original "Pac-Man" arcade board to change the graphics, sounds and gameplay, to sell to arcade operators who wanted to extend the life of their arcade machines. Regardless, this is a fun little gag that is being thrown together by Google and we're interested in seeing just what other announcements or games happen to pop up online due to the holiday.
