Neil Gallagher's High Flying Birds have been confirmed as special guests for the shows in Mexico and South America; special guests for the North American shows will be revealed at a later date.
Now they have announced via their official website that more dates have been announced in the US, Mexico and South America for later this year. The special guest for the US dates will be announced shortly.

There will be an exclusive priority presale for U2 Subscribers at www.u2.com beginning Thursday, June 8 at 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. Saturday, June 10. The list of tour dates for the next few months is as follows. - Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival June 11 - Miami, Fla. - Raymond James Stadium June 18 - Philadelphia, Penn. U2 will perform the album in full during a performance at Qualcomm Stadium. Tickets, $25-$65, on sale Friday, June 9.
An anniversary edition of the The Joshua Tree was recently released by Interscope Records.
The show is part of the band's trek marking the 30th anniversary of "The Joshua Tree", its seminal 1987 album which elevated the group to worldwide icon status.
The band will be play the iconic album, which contains hits such as Where the Streets Have No Name, in its entirety each night.
