According to multiple sources across England this afternoon, Chelsea have included clauses in the contracts of outgoing pair Bertrand Traore and Nathan Ake, allowing the club to re-purchase the duo at an increased price at some point in the future.
The 22-year-old Netherlands global spent the first half of last season at Bournemouth on loan, before being recalled to the Chelsea squad for their title-winning run-in.
Ake joining the side would also provide extra options in the middle of the defence as well as to Charlie Daniels, who has been one of the most consistent players for the Cherries since their return to the top flight of English football.
He made just seventeen appearances for Chelsea across four campaigns but was named their Young Player of the Season in 2013 while he claimed the same accolade with Watford three years later after a year-long loan spell.
He has been capped by the Netherlands at U15, U16, U17, U19, U21 and senior levels.
Nintendo unveiled SNES Classic console, to be released later this year
Unlike the NES Classic Edition with its 30 built-in games, the new SNES Classic will be coming with only 21 games built-in . Despite being a runaway success, Nintendo quietly pulled the Classic Mini NES from sale previous year .
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe added: 'I am delighted that we have completed the signing of Nathan on a permanent basis.
"I had a great time here last season so I'm really happy to be back", Ake told the club site.
'The fans haven't seen the best of me yet.
Ake was recalled by Chelsea back in January but failed to hold down a regular starting spot in the first team at the west London club.
"Two seasons ago, I challenged the starters but we all know what happened previous year".
