A Tennessee man who has followed the president to 33 states is selling pro-Donald Trump merchandise today in Springfield, as part of the president's visit there.
Trump says in Springfield, Missouri, that his tax overhaul plan will be "pro-growth, pro-jobs, pro-worker and pro-American".
Pascrell also floated the possibility that Trump's global business empire might benefit from his tax plan, though no one can know "until the President releases his tax returns" - a step Trump has refused to take. "I've talked in a lot of my town halls about my support for simplifying the tax code by cleaning out loopholes and goodies for special interests, and lowering the corporate tax rate - as long as we're doing it all through the lens of strengthening Missouri's working families".
"I think Congress is going to make a comeback", he said.
Trump approves Louisiana emergency declaration
Brock said authorities were anticipating that some 30,000 people would be placed in temporary shelters due to the flooding. John Bel Edwards had asked for the declaration and said his state would be in the storm's path for the next week.

The event is invitation only, and the audience will consist mostly of company management and workers, despite officials saying Mr. Trump was giving the speech to bring everyday Americans into the tax reform conversation. "Democrats believe that not one penny of tax cuts should go to the 1%. That was below the average rate for developed countries at the time", Trump said. In other words, the administration is planning to push tax reform through regular order, and not, as was the case with Obamacare repeal, through the Senate budget reconciliation process, which allows Republican leadership to bypass Democratic filibusters and requires only 50 yes votes.
