Gerard Butler has realized how "precious" his life is after he was recently knocked off his bike.
Butler, 47, crashed his bike after he was run off the road by a auto, he told Entertainment Tonight Monday.
The entertainment news outlet reported on Monday, Oct. 16 that the accident was caused by a auto cutting off Gerard while he was riding his motorcycle. "I smacked the vehicle, went flying through the air and did a somersault and landed and it hurt a bit".
They added: "Someone called 911, paramedics came and took Gerard to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries".
The Scottish heart-throb said was taken to an area hospital after the accident, and described his injuries as "painful". The actor suffered no broken bones.
