The world's most popular messaging app added the voice-calling feature in February 2015 and by June 2016, more than 100 million voice calls are made per day on WhatsApp. WABetaInfo is of the opinion that WhatsApp is concentrating on its new recall tool, so a 2018 launch seems likely since group video/voice calls require a lot of development. However, according to the code, there is a reference to the same feature for groups, but for video calling as well.
Reports also suggest that the much anticipated "unsend" feature will soon be rolled out in an update to all WhatsApp users.
"Delete for Everyone" feature will let users to recall or unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and status replies within five minutes. When the feature comes into use, the users will be able to dodge the pricey worldwide call rates.
It seems that Facebook-owned WhatsApp is all set to bring group calling feature to the app.
WhatsApp has announced that it is testing another interesting feature of group voice and video call in Android latest version. "So group video calls are partially confirmed at the moment", WaBetaInfo tweeted on Sunday. The reference to group calling was found in the 2.17.70 beta release of the app.
Malaysia go down fighting to India in Asia Cup final
Pushing forth Malaysians were rewarded with a penalty corner towards the end of the first quarter but the opportunity was wasted. With goals from Satbir, Harmanpreet, Lalit and Gurjant, India once again beat Pakistan and moved into the Asia Cup final.
The new WhatsApp v2.17.70 will also send a request to the server to ask if one calling the user is on another call or not. The new location sharing feature is an advanced version of the existing location sharing option on the app.
This means that only people you choose to share your location with should be able to access this information, protecting it from intrusion from hackers, governments and other third parties. There is also a choice to keep the group maker to be deleted from the group by other administrators. This feature will work every time you are change your phone number.
The admins on WhatsApp group will be able to decide whether the participants can modify the subject of the group, its icon and description.
Moreover, the references to group calls were found in update 2.17.20 for iOS, but, we are pretty sure that Android users too will get this group calling feature.
