As reported by ESPN, Bradford had surgery that "cleaned up" his knee Tuesday in Florida.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Minnesota Vikings could place Bradford on Injured Reserve to make room for Bridgewater to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list.
The team had a Wednesday deadline to decide Bridgewater's status for the rest of the 2017 season after he spent the first six weeks sidelined on the physically unable to perform list before being medically cleared to return to practice on October 18.
For weeks, Bradford has battled side effects of a non-contact knee injury he sustained when he led the Vikings to a 29-19 win over the Saints in Week 1. He saw Bradford on September 22 and determined then that no additional surgery was needed.
