In order to check out the new feature, Pixel users need to go to Settings Battery.
As you can see in Google's modelling below, the battery usage chart with Smart Battery isn't just a linear progression anymore. The feature will take into account the extra battery drains that occurred previously and uses the data to display battery estimate. Now it looks like Google has uploaded the app to the Play Store. Also, the battery settings menu will give an accurate estimation of the amount of time that you can use your smartphone without charging it. For example, if you lost say 10% battery in an hour over the last few hours, it would assume that you would continue at that same rate.
Google's new on-device model will spare you the trouble of having your phone dead all the time. There you'll see the percent level of battery remaining and the time duration for which it will support your device. This can be done by clicking the Battery icon, and then tapping the big battery icon. Other changes include the new app drawer which will now initiate search including your history apart from installed apps. In October, the search giant came up with Device Health Services, a battery management application, and this new model is expected to have added that.
The Google Pixel smartphones have received positive reviews in many aspects but there is one major problem that many users face.

"Finally, tell us if you have more ideas about how you would like your phone to inform you or warn you about battery", read the post.
