According to the film review aggregation site, the story of Christine McPherson's (Saoirse Ronan) senior year of Catholic high school has a 100 percent score after 170 positive reviews - "and counting", the site notes. The New York Times described Ronan as 'one of the most formidable actors in movies today' in their review of the title.

A new indie movie about a teenager's love-hate relationship with her hometown has passed an animated tale about talking toys to become the best-reviewed film ever on Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie, which initially opened with a limited USA release earlier this month, has continued to win fans across the board, and on Monday, it surpassed Toy Story 2 to land the title of the film with the most consecutive fresh responses on the popular review site, with zero negative reactions. A film can't be "certified fresh" unless it receives a 75% or higher average with 80 reviews or more for films in wide release, including five reviews from Top Critics.
