The Snapdragon 845 has four Kryo 385 Gold (Cortex-A75) as well as four Kryo 385 Silver (Cortex-A55) cores.
All in all, what the benchmarks tell us is that the Snapdragon 845 SoC is the fastest Android chip right now and is set to make upcoming flagship smartphones from companies like Samsung, Nokia, LG, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Google incredibly fast and perform extremely well, at least compared to the Snapdragon 835 or similar competitors.
As per the Geekbench score information, the Samsung Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F) powered with Exynos 9810 and 4GB of RAM scores 3648 in single-core performance and 8894 in multi-core performance. So yes, you can expect the most advanced features and performance on the new Snapdragon 845 Chipset. Across benchmark tests from various platforms, including GFXBench, 3DMark and AnTuTu, the GPU vastly outperformed its predecessor (as tested in a variety of Android flagships from the past year).
Ahead of the launch event, scheduled for Sunday February 25th, details of the Galaxy S9 have purportedly appeared on popular benchmark tool, Geekbench.
The Adreno 630 GPU provides a significant boost to the Snapdragon 845, offering 30 percent better performance and 2.5 times faster display output. For reference, the iPhone X and iPhone 8 reached 4,200 and 10,000 in the same single-core and multi-core tests. They still support eye-tracking with the Snapdragon 845 development kit hardware, but it hasn't been integrated yet in software so we may still be waiting on that.

While it seems the iPhone range will continue to be the first stop for anyone wanting maximum power from their smartphone, it was always essential that the Snapdragon 845 proved itself a worthy successor.
Apart from the speed of the Snapdragon 845, it is also interesting to note that the Snapdragon 845 is also very power efficient which is very helpful in consuming battery life.
