MyBroadband attended the event to cover the launch, and it was a spectacular gathering.
The regular P20 doesn't look to be a sloucher either, featuring a Leica dual-lens camera featuring a 12MP lens with a pixel size as high as 1.55 μm, and a 20MP monochrome lens, enhancing the HUAWEI P20's ability to capture photos in low-light settings.
The P20 model got all glass design case with a curve on all four sides. This notch houses the earpiece and a superior 24-megapixel selfie camera.
On the rear, there's a standard dual-camera setup aligned vertically. The lenses collectively mean the main camera packs a 68 megapixel punch. The set-up can record 960fps slow motion videos as well. However, the camera modules are placed in the middle of the rear panel, rather than being on the top left corner as on P20 Pro.
Unsurprisingly, it outdoes them both with a triple lens camera, 4000mAh battery, the latest Kirin 970 processor and several more ritzy extras. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM to offer good multi-tasking. The design of the phone takes a cue from the Mate 10 family, and the phone is available in two colour option: Black and Red.
The update will also allow you to disable the scene detection, which is useful if you're not a fan of the adjustments the phone is making. This is a great alternative for those who are annoyed by the intruding notch in the center.

The official price for the Huawei P20 in the United Kingdom is £599. For charging and connectivity purposes, the phone gets a USB Type-C port. Keep in mind that the P20 Pro is still not officially on sale so once its software is finalized the gap to the leaders will probably be a bit smaller. On the other hand, P20 Pro has a larger 6.1-inch FHD+ (2244x1080) AMOLED FullView display. The screen resolution will be 2240×1080 pixels.
Huawei's Porsche Design Mate RS is the ultimate luxury smartphone and perhaps the reason why the company is charging is so much for the device.
The biggest highlight of the device is the in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Here's another one in Pink Gold, reflecting two colours at the same time, it's truly handsome. The second one is a 40MP RGB 1/1.7-inch sensor, while the third one is a 20MP monochrome sensor. The last one is an 8MP one having an aperture of f/2.4. These two new handsets, unveiled in Paris today, feature killer cameras and huge screens. It is possible that import P20 phones will be offered soon. It is powered by the Hisilicon Kirin 970 which is comparable to the Snapdragon 845, its Qualcomm counterpart. The phone has a Mali-G72 MP12 graphic processing unit. Apart from that, we get to see a 4 GB of RAM here along with 128 GB of internal storage.
The P20 is priced at 649 euros (Approximately Rs 53,000) while the P20 Pro model will come at 899 euros (Approximately Rs 73,000).
