Educators from other districts in Colorado are also expected to participate, though it's unclear exactly how many will join.
"We're all in this thing together", Poudre School District teacher Charlie McNamee said.
Spokespersons for the Denver and Adams 14 school districts told Denver7 Friday they did not expect their teachers to leave school.
The Colorado Education Association is hosting what it's calling a "Lobby Day" and the Englewood teachers are joining the CEA in support.
"The Denver Public Schools Board of Education and Superintendent Tom Boasberg have been working extraordinarily hard and in partnership with superintendents across the state to press our state government to restore education funding to our schools and ensure our students and our educators receive the supports and compensation they deserve".

"I guarantee you somewhere today a child was physically harmed or ingested poison because they were home alone because a single parent doesn't have any money to take care of them".

Nearly thirty Oklahoma schools have announced cancellation for Wednesday's classes and admitted that if they do not see a legislative change, the protests could continue through the week.
But Preist said the efforts by teachers to win more money for education is not over.
