Supporters have called on UEFA as well as FIFA to take action against the Spaniard, who got tangled with Salah in a challenge during the final, causing a shoulder injury to the Egyptian, morale dip for Jurgen Klopp's side leading to Liverpool losing and threat of Salah missing out on FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russian Federation.
But it now appears there is a good chance Salah will be able to join his country for the tournament in Russian Federation.
In a post on Twitter on Sunday, Salah said "it was a very tough night, but I'm a fighter".
"The most important thing is that I know how to be professional and when you come on you need to try to make an impact and I did that".
Egypt's team doctor Mohamed Abou El-Ela said in a statement that, according to information from Liverpool's medical staff, Salah has sustained only ligament damage.
Hazard targets title to hint at Chelsea stay
The West London club missed out on a Champions League spot and will play in the Europa League next season. Hazard added: "If City keep playing like this, it is going to be hard, but you never know in football".
Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted he might have played his final match for Real Madrid.
"It's unfortunate. It just disrupted our rhythm a wee bit".
The 28-year-old now has four Champions League winners' medal from five seasons in Spain, equalling the British record of former Liverpool defender Phil Neal.
Salah had been instrumental in Liverpool's unexpected run to their Champions League final since 2007.
"He has done unbelievable this season and for it to end that way for him was devastating", Robertson added. "It wasn't the right time, but I was honest", Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "We came back really quick and then a wonderful goal from Bale, and then the third goal was really hard for us".
The Pharaohs will then play against Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia on June 19 and June 25.
