Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz was fatally attacked with a machete by gang members in an apparent case of mistaken identity.
The suspects grabbed the teen, who went by the name "Junior", and dragged him along the ground out of the store before fatally stabbing him, the video shows. The group made its way up 183rd Street from the bodega to Saint Barnabus Hospital where Guzman-Feliz died before reaching the emergency room.
Six other men being held in New Jersey waived extradition Tuesday and are expected back in the Bronx sometime this week. On Sunday, police arrested Kevin J. Alvarez of Van Nest following an intense manhunt.
CBS New York reports that Guzman-Feliz was mistaken for a man seen having sex with one of the gang members' cousins in a Snapchat video.
Investigators say the suspects may be linked to the violent Trinitarios gang, which has also been blamed for another violent, public stabbing last week.
Yankees star pitcher CC Sabathia and singer Rihanna, among other celebrities, reacted with posts on social media expressing their condolences.

Six men were arrested, in addition to two other men apprehended in NY by the NYPD.
"They broke my heart - they killed my son, and they killed me at the same time", she said. "Our school is a family and losing a wonderful 15-year-old boy to senseless violence is hard for us to understand", the school added.
On Sunday, New Jersey authorities raided a Paterson home known to be a hangout for members of the Trintarios street gang, which was suspected to have played a role in the teen's death.
Cardi B, who's from the Bronx, donated $8000 (£6,000) to the victim's family.
Battered and bloody from the attack, Guzman-Feliz slumps over the counter, after which the cashier appears to shoo him, refusing to come to his aid.
A GoFundMe page started in his honor has raised more than $200,000 in five days.
