Hollywood superstar George Clooney was treated in hospital on Tuesday for minor injuries after a scooter accident in Sardinia, Italian media reported. The driver, probably horrified to find out Clooney was the one on the scooter, stayed with the actor until an ambulance rushed him to the nearby John Paul II hospital.
Carabinieri officer Alberto Cicognani was the driver of the Mercedes vehicle that hit Clooney after failing to stop at a turn, as reported by CNN.
George Clooney has been rushed to hospital after a motorbike crash. Clooney allegedly said that he was "fine" and that he would continue filming his Catch-22 mini-series in a few days.

"The driver decided to make an abrupt right turn and clipped George". Clooney, 57, is serving as director and executive producer on the project, and also plays the role of Scheisskopf.
