September 13 - Gabrielle weakens into a tropical depression, then into a tropical cyclone, before dissipating. The weather phenomenon essentially "rips apart" hurricanes, disrupting their formation and/or strengthening.
September 16 - Strengthens again into a tropical storm. However, this area could slowly develop further into early next week toward South Florida or the Gulf of Mexico.
September 30 - Tropical Storm Jerry develops in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
November 22 - Weakens to a post-tropical cyclone.
October 24 - Weakens to a tropical depression.
